Evening Nesters

Sorry I am late arriving here again; busy few days not only at the nests but at home here too.

Woo Hoo.....the big day is finally here ...today is the First Day of Spring at least for some folks generally a bit delayed here .... I am so looking forward to spring

SJ Thanks for getting us fed and watered the Tims always tastes so fine when it arrives over the top and on gossamer wings I think the zamboni looks awesome and we can all take turns being co pilot with Roadie.....cannot wait to take it for a spin I was up all night last night watching severe weather at an OK nest...it was nail biting with Mom and two juvies in the nest....Tornado warning was issued and the severe weather last till the early morning hours. In some of my captures and videos you can see the intense lightening actually striking the ground....it was unbearable to watch. Also, saw funnel clouds & possibly a tornado too all in the background of the nest. I hope never to see that again...not sure I could do it again. The family survived this time I wish they were already fledged!! We got lots of new snow this past weekend just in time for spring doncha know . . So glad you feeling stronger and just think in 3 more sleeps chemo #4 will be history horray yep yep yep. Sending you all our love and lots of northern sunshine and hugaroos to help you kick some butt on Friday yep yep yep.

Ma Great to see you perched Thanks for asking about Tbone (his hockey buds call him that now); the specialist believes the lump is bone but they will do a scan to rule out anything more serious. Then after puberty they will "file" down the bone or if it starts to hurt they will do it sooner; the specialist thinks it was a hockey or sports injury that caused this deformity of cartlidge to grow there. So its all good news Hope you have recovered fully from your bout with pnemonia too

Bev Aww give those adorable grandsons a big ole polar bear from me too .... just wuv those boys they are quite the pair and so full of life just wuv em. Its been crazy busy here and I am still on antibiotics second round now and hopefully will be back to "normal" soon ...what is normal...enquiring minds want to know

Kay I wondered how the birds faired out with all the wind storms ; hopefully they can rebuild quickly keep us posted on their progress I hope Mother Nature brings some nice weather your way so you can get out and do some more birding. I am anxious to get up to the NWT and check on my nests too but its too early yet.

John So glad the Wiz was able to help you out...and it gave you an opportunity to spend time together too and a brand new bed too boot many thanks for sending the doggies out along with all of our must have treats too

Tomorrow my grandson Kingston goes to the city to see a Specialist...the lil man has been having airway issues and has been sleeping on Mom's chest pretty much since birth. Any airway issue is a major concern and we all hope that whatever the issue is they can fix asap~~seems like our family has had alot of rain lately....sunshine must surely be on the way.

Go-o-o-o-o-o-d Morning, Nester Buds! -

I arrived at my perch this morning, and lookie at what I found!


Yeppers! I have been gone so long that a spider built its web on my perch.

I have been here on several occasions to read about all of my Nester Buds. But, next month is another bored meeting and it has been time to get all of the materials ready. The budget is done and materials will be posted for the bored members tomorrow. I also spent some time with Debs and Bev and JudyH at the NCTC nest, watching Belle and Smitty and their two beautiful babies. I also spent a bit of time with Cute-let at the Carolina Raptor Center nest. She is a princess and Savannah and Derek are definitely the Queen and King at the nest. So, when I had a moment I did a scappie and an obs or two and then back to work.

SJ - It was so good to see you on the Nest of St. Patrick's Day! I loved your post and clearly you were doing a bit of wearin' o' the green!!! I do hope you are feeling better and that you will be in fightin' shape for your next round of chemo!!!

Debs - awesome news about T!!!!! I am so very happy!! Now, if we can just get that baby Kingston feeling better. Bless his baby heart!!! I hope the specialist helps him right away!!!! So sorry about the storm at the Sooner nest. OMG. I am thrilled that the nest and the babies got through it OK.

Kay - sure sounds like the weather there isn't good either. You be careful and stay safe and warm!!!

ED - as always it's so nice to see you on your perch everyday. Thank you so much for sending the Timmies along with Roadie and the doggies yesterday! Sure needed the caffeine!!!!

Ma and Chip - Yeah!!! So glad you both dropped by the other day!!! It's always wonderful to see you here!

SJ Thanks for your email; so sorry to hear that Steve is sick still and that you are still battling the nausea and feeling washed out . Your Nester Buds are right there along side the both of you sending you both all our love along with some fresh northern air and plenty of sunshine with some kick butt positive energy too coming to you over the top on gossamer wings yep yep yep. Now we have decided to pair Nurse R yep she needs guidance doncha know so we going to team her up with our very own Nester Superhero now I just have to track him down he is on a highly classifed super duper mission in the far north so hang onto your hats....the Nester Reserves POW are on their way to help you kick those mean "yukies" straight to the moon yep yep yep. We are the SJ A Team oh yah yep yep yep

Lonette thanks for getting the doggies out this morning I am loving every bit of my Tims today We have really enjoyed having you perch with us at NCTC and the babies are so adorable hey....nothing makes yah feel more like spring than seeing new life everywhere just wuv it. Spidee webs hey...well no problem just dust them away and you set as always yep yep yep

John We might have to send the Rangers out in search of our lost Nesters we have lots of Mobile Mansions now so getting to all ports is a none issue

SJ it took some doing but I located the super duper hero he was in court before a judge giving testimony to get some of our cowboys out of the slammer (they got out of hand at a partee last night) The judge was in a good mood and our boys got a suspended probation ...they have to do some cow poke time at a remote norther location ....so not to worry he is on his way now ....be forewarned though he is pretty particular about being in charge so maybe give the Rach a pep talk ....lay the law down k we need everyone happy to make this work

Hi Nesters... Just had to stop in here..i miss you all so much...i heard from a very special friend in BC today and she send me some pictures of her flowers and immediately i thought of Judy sj.. these are for you my friend.. ..cl for bigger.... It was 82º here today...imagine..unheard of for March...




Judy sj... I am sad to hear that Steve is still sick and you are not feeling the best.. we are all right there behind you 100%.. you can beat this and we will all be doing the happy dance... even Mr. Bean... we all love you so much and send you big hugs, stormin heaven and candles a glow for you...

Debs... Reading you post have me a lift.. i know it will do the same for Judy sj.. you are the best...

Good evening Nesters

Wow, so many places in Canada that are breaking temperature records There was frost on the roofs here this morning and lots of vehicles were going off the road and many fender benders happening I didn't go out but hubby said the all-wheel-drive on our new vehicle works great and he didn't feel the tires slipping at all



sj sorry to hear you are still suffering with nausea and not too much energy I hope both you and Steve are feeling better soon

Debs glad you are feeling better and are back to your hilarious self Your posts always give me a good laugh

Bev the photo of the crocuses is lovely. We have lots of different flowers out in bloom around here and I must get out and photograph them.
