Feelin' a wee bit better - soooo ...

Just poppin' in to say - it's timmies time ...





Sun’s up in the swamp. And our rascally rooster Roadie - rubbing the sleep from his eyes - just crowed his morning COCK-A-DOODLE-DOOOOOO. So now, the whole barnyard is awake. He’s early to bed every night – draggin’ his wee blankie – just so he can be up bright and early – and head off with the doggies on their sled.

And now, after donning his woolies – a quick Rooster hug, and off he goes, carrying his wee suitcase under his wing. Awwww – so cute he is.

So Wakey Wakey gang. Doggies all ready to be mushin’ ‘round the globe. Starting at the north pole, they’re headed for all our favorite Nesters. Their sled is always full of freshly perked coffee and steaming home-brewed tea to bump start our day. It’s pipin' hot for all – with lots of muffins, donuts and goodies - and plenty of delicious iced coffee and iced tea too for the afternoon.

John, Campbell River did get a lot of damage hope that everyone recovers very quickly. You asked how it is here well apparently huge logs were thrown on to the roof of a local waterfront motel restaurant and the waves were HUGE, some of the waterfront, which is high bank, was washed out there was some damage to other businesses. Davis Bay waterfront, where we walk, had huge logs and rocks thrown across the road which had to be closed for a while for cleanup. Merry Island lighthouse had winds of 187k.

Well, it is (itès) very early for me with that darn time change so I will say - have a great day Nesters! Now I am off to look through my telescope my Stalashen Eagles are definitely.... busy.... in the nest.

Hi Marg! The storm did damage a lot of places and I hope yours is cleaned up quickly! We'll be weeks and months. But nobody was really badly hurt, thank goodness!

T has a hockey tourney today so I am off to watch a game shortly so have to be quick like a bunny today but wanted to pop in and perch and share a Tims with you all first.

SJ Judy so wonderful to see your post this morning ; I had a feeling you would be sharing your sunshine today The tims is tasting especially fine this morning so wonderful seeing us all perched together now we just need a few more buds to join us and we will be able to catch up on all our news here yep yep yep Love the pot of gold.... ~~ my Grandma was Irish and she loved to celebrate today and we always enjoyed all the treats she would make for us...and we always loved to paint everything green today yep yep yep. Bev So glad you folks celebrate this special day; we always used to celebrated this special day too we had so much fun but now with no family here its hard to carry on the tradition. Awww your grandsons are adorable and so very thoughtful to spoil you with flowers give them all a big hug from all of the Grams here too What a wonderful family we have to enjoy at NCTC so happy for Belle she deserves this after last year.

HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY NESTERS!!

A very quick post this afternoon as I'm out again to do some shopping

I hope everyone has a fun St. Patrick's day today I have a lot of Irish blood in me; my Mother was born in Belfast and my Grandmother in Londonderry Northern Ireland. My Grandparents came to Canada from N. Ireland in 1923. I was named Kathleen because my Grandmother loved the Irish song 'I'll Take You Home Again Kathleen' and she hoped we could all go to N. Ireland together some day That never did happen and a visit to visit N. Ireland & Scotland is on my bucket list

I was very busy yesterday watching so many different cams, recording videos and taking s'caps Once the weather improves and I'm able to get out more to do my birding, I'll have to pick and choose which cams I'll watch I was hoping to get out to do some birding this afternoon but will have to see how our shopping goes
