Good afternoon Nesters

sj I hope you are feeling better every day and will soon be back here with us on your perch hug

Bev I haven't spent much time watching Phoebe, Sansa and Arya lately; I lose interest if I turn the cam on and just sit here with nothing to look at Roll eyes But I'll definitely start watching again when she has a new family. I'm going to have fun watching the condors Nodding

Debs I created a new album in my main album in the Media Gallery for various photos of birds and have uploaded 6 photos of the condors that I took when we were at San Diego Zoo in May 2010. The young ones are very comical to watch Wub

Jude I enjoyed watching the video of the galaxy. It certainly makes one wonder if there are other forms of life out there and if so, what they look like Oh My Aliens Wooh

John I had just sent an email off to D in Campbell River and 2 minutes later I find an envelope in the mail from her. Bless her heart; she sent me 2 articles on the eagle tree that she cut out of the paper, both published on March 7th; one in the Campbell River Mirror and one in the Campbell River Courier-Islander. It certainly is a controversial issue and the residents of Campbell River are very upset about it. Gordon Knight is certainly not liked by many people Mad

Diana nice to see you here so early in the afternoon; hope you enjoyed your time off work hug I always enjoy your goodiesNodding

Marg hope you are OK and didn't lose your power Oh My The wind started here in the night and howled all night and half the day today; when the wind died down then it started raining sigh sign I think we will be heading south next winter for at least 6 weeks Roll eyes

Hi to all Nesters and I hope everyone has a good evening!!

Just a quick message to all the Nesters. Dear Judy, SJ, I hope you are resting and feeling a little better.hug

Kay, I am worried about John does anyone have his phone number pm me and I will call him. Earl saw on the news that Campbell River got really hammered. We didn't lose power but lots of huge logs washed over the road down at Davis Bay. Huge waves in Sechelt - like the North Shore of Hawaii!!

I have to check the forum a little later - watching the Bachelor Laugh

John if you read this let us know how you are.

Hope any under the weather Nesters feel a little better.hughug

Hi Sitting eagle Nesters!

Well, we made it! Power was out from 6:15 a.m. until 6:30 p.m. and it was very cold for us but no serious damage at our home. After the monsoons slowed a bit, the worst part was w/o power, we had no idea what was happening around our city. No radio; no TV! So, after muscling the garage door open, we went around town to find a nice lunch with HEAT in the restaurant! Ha! Every place that had power, had line-ups out the door to get in! Many were in darkness too! We finally ended up at a Tims not far from our house where we had a fine soup and sandwich and I finally got my mugga' coffee. (I think the dogs got waylaid by the 130kph winds!) Titter On our drive from home to down town, we saw numerous up-rooted trees and branches and debris all over the place. The local radio stations seemed to play music all the time on the truck radio (I guess they had generators powering them) because we didn't hear any news at all!
The southern part of the city lost even more trees than we saw, according all reports!

Anyway, I am glad to have most everything back to 'normal' and can read what you gals have been up to!

Hope all is well over there Marg! We are fine! Thank you for your concern! Several Nesters have my e-mail but not my tel. #.

Debs, thanks for the latest from Sj!

Hi Diana, good to see you and the cats! Grin

Well Bev, you are watching Phoebe's nest and s'capping for us- wonderful and thank you!

Hi Kay! Yes, Gordon Knight is indeed the local pariah these weeks! I hope the pressure keeps on him too!

A few big trees in the same general area as that eagle's nest came down today!

Thank you all for caring! Wub NNSTDLBBBYA!!! happy Cool Cloud 9 hug Nodding Clapping Left thumb up Whistling sleepy Good night
