Kay, Thanks GF, I do know your love for the American White Pelican, it is a gorgeous gentle large water bird. They are flying over the river this week heading back north to start their breeding season. I will check Wild ARC face book out to see Pelly. I will also do the American White Pelican tomorrow to add to Bird Talk 101.

EagleDude, That Great Blue Heron was able to swallow that fish whole, but it did take some time and work of dipping the fish in the lake and then getting it positioned just right in its bill. It also had to drink water from the lake to help get the fish down. When I did my research for the Great Blue Heron, it did mention at times they do choke to death on large fish. The Great Blue Heron and that photo is one of the birds I have completed over at Bird Talk 101. Also the video I recorded of that Great Blue Heron with its large catch is one of the videos included.

If anyone ever has a bird that they would like me to research and post at Bird Talk send me a PM.

Update on SJ Judy....today is a rough day ; up all night; lots of nausea (meds help) and now getting respiratory infection that Steve had earlier this week ...I forgot the pattern so for the next week the symptoms will persist. Please give my love to our Nesters and thank each and everyone of them for their love...it makes a world of difference to me and brings me much "sunshine" as you always say....hope to be perched again next week ...hugs and much love to you all

SJ We be missing you here my friend I hope you are snuggled up on the couch wrapped inside our loving arms we are right there beside you loving and supporting you thru this my friend so just get thru the next few days....and you can you the master at kick butt....many sunny days sunny days ahead for you yep yep yep. Nurse Rach is on standby just say the word and she will be right there with that big Louisville Slugger to help you kick some serious butt Sending you a zamboni full of positive energy and all our love to help you get thru the next few days.

John Glad you enjoyed the updated quilt I enjoyed doing it and I am not quite down yet ...I changed it up abit added Kay and also added more snappy of my adorable grandkids as they are growing up in the the loving arms of our Nesters too...and the spark in their eyes is much needed to help our SJ drive down this bumpy road.

Bev So glad the intrusion at our NCTC nest is gone maybe now Belle and Smitty can get on with having a great nesting season. I put the roller blades away and hopefully we will not need them again

Vic Sounds like you are having a great time in Miami we are still with envy ~~~ could you tone it down just abit just try to sound abit bored in that paradise seriously though have a great time with your niece make lots of great memories take lots of snappies so when you retrieve those memories on a cold Canadian winter day

Sassy I was deep inside the trunk but it was so much fun I did not want to come out yep Seriously though I had to add members of our family as we continue to grow aint it wonderful
