I didn't get a s'cap, but both adults were on the nest briefly. I think Mom finished her breakfast, and Dad showed up and is now working on the leftovers. This is the other adult - and I'm guessing who is who based on a really quick glimpse of relative sizes and on the fact that usually the female eats first.

We just had a visitor:


The juvie just stayed about two seconds (maybe three - just barely long enough for me to reach my mouse for a s'cap), and right after he/she left, I saw an adult fly to the tree where you can almost see a white head in the circle:


I think they are looking after their territory!

The adult is still there - but I am out for a while.

When the eagle leaves that perch - there is a chance for a lovely fly pass scap - for anyone ready for it!

I bet there are a ton of juvies in the Delta area....I see them all over now.

One of the eagles (Dad?) just arrived at the nest with some straw, which he's now busily rearranging.



And the other one just arrived with a stick - and now I'm not quite sure who is who.



They are having some heated discussions about where the stick goes, and did a couple of beak-to-beak face-offs, before one of them took over and is putting the stick in just the right place - which was temporarily on the other's head (too bad I can't type and do s'caps at the same time...).



Now one has left, and the other is busy reorganizing the fluff.

The second one returned, they did a bit more reorganization - and then both left.
