Hi all,

Not much to report today as the drizzle this morning made looking at anything in the nest impossible.

I took this one after work today. one of the little guys checking me out taking pictures.

The only other thing note worthy was a visit by a bruin and I do not mean Boston. interesting that as he strolled by under the nest the eagles did not pay him any attention.

Yes. Today was garbage day in our area and there are two of them who seem to be very aware of when garbage day is coming. They hang out in the gulley on one side of us and the ravine on the other so I usually need to have my trusty bicycle horn with me when gardening outdoors these days.

Some of our elderly neighbours are tired of having the garbage cans spread all over the road at 2 AM. Feel free to suggest they trot across the inlet and stay there. Wink

Rather than keep deleting my pictures on Flickr I have resorted to social media to post all the pictures. I created a Facebook page open to all so I can post my pictures and hopefully Urban Eagle's pictures

If you have a Facebook page you can find theeagle pictures here

Great pictures, sawrat - they're getting big! My husband uses a facebook page to share pictures - seems to work well for him.

HI all,

Caught a glimpse of her hunting near the nest without my camera in hand but she did not have any success. After work She was at the nest and still appeared to be on the look out for brunch for the young. They are growing. I am hoping to get down this weekend and get some pictures weather permitting.

wave Friends of these eagles.i was down at the point at 11:30 today (wed.) Found Ma in the nest ,with the chicks napping. The foulge is making it harder for me at this point,to get a good pic of the eaglet's even when there awake. That being said hopefully Sawrat will be able to monitior them a little better than I can from my perch point.

Hi Larry. It is great that you are managing to keep an eye out there, and at the same time as there have been instances of concern in a couple of the other nests it sure would be nice if we could get a better glimpse of the eaglets, so I am totally understanding your sentiments.

We can also well understand the need for the eagles to move out onto a rather inhospitable spit of land as the local pair of male bears have been making a total nuisance of themselves on a daily basis here. Have you seen this fellow at all yet, or does he just come and turn your garbage upside down at night? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fEiax5mkPrE<br /> One person has seen both bears together, but most of us have only seen one at a time and if lucky can distinguish the difference in physique so we know there are two. Can't wait for salmon berry season to end. Do you know if the bear was out on the spit to eat salmon berries there? @Sawrat are there salmon berry bushes under the eagles' nest?
