waveFreinds of these Eagles, I observed pretty much the same today. No sign of a bobble head yet,but Ma is sitting High in the nest and Pa keeps bring'n in branch's to ad to the crib rails around the nest.At one point as Ma was feeding herself it did apper that she might be feeding someone else.Just to low in the nest bowl.
Took this pic Just before Pa flew off the old dead stump at the mill west of the nest

He flew over me and went to the tree behind the resturant and in front of the row club grabed a branch and went back to the nest.

After that hung in the nest for a few minutes with ma, then flew out and checked the No Fly Zone around the inlet for intruders.

Hi all,

I was checking this morning as well Larry and your right there is no sign of babies yet. I was really hoping something would happen as the weather is not looking too great so taking pictures will not be in the best conditions should the egg(s) hatch.

Back to 3 pictures that is great. Although I think i will use Flickr once the young have emerged and I can take a bunch of photos.

Hi all,

I have been off all week on vacation but my spies have told me that there has been no unusual activity that they have noticed. So I dropped down today and took a look for my myself but did not see much. Ma was doing something and I was hoping she was feeding a young but really hard to tell and because of the vibrations the equipment I could not get any good pictures from my perches

She was doing something at the nest but not able to tell what.

Then she settled in

Shortly After Pa had finished His Returned to perch a young Juvie made a fly by from west to east, with no bother from Pa. I thought he would have been on the chase ;but the Juvie had no intrest in hanging around.

Hi all,

I spent the breaks taking pictures of the nest hoping to catch a glimpse of something but the only thing I saw was the one in the nest watching the world go by and Larry at Rocky Point Park

The Boom as you call it Larry is actually called the peco ( pronounced pee-co ) basket. Log bundles are put into the basket when it is in the water with boom boats then the basket lifts the bundles of log up into the mill to be debarked.

waveFreinds of these Eagle's just back from the nest and as sawrat observed, I too saw no sign of are bobblehead (yet)But meet a few more passer buy's that showed in intrest in are nest and web site.I keeped a lookout for you sawrat but didn't catch a pic of you at your perch points(sorry maybe tommorow)
Ma was on the nest when Fred and I arrived, checking out Her well done Job by the look of things and Pa was perched on the Dolphine(sawrat can correct me if my termonoligy is wrong) but I beleive that is what He has called them. While that was going on, are Local osbrey was doing a little dance in the sky to the east of the boat launch. These osbrey's nest was taken over by a pair of Geese this season so they have rebuilt on the other side of the inlet but stayed in the area(thankfully)

We have been invited to a dinner at the Boathouse Restaurant this week and if we decide to go we will be the 'local experts' on the nest out the window, when in actual fact we have been learning from all of you. I imagine we will be more interested in looking out the windows than hearing speeches. Wink
