There's another feeding going on now. They were definitely a bit rambunctious while they were waiting, and I observed a bit of sibling rivalry, but now they're more focused on the adult with the food than pecking at each other. And as I was typing, #1 turned and pecked at #2 - oh well! It does look like normal behavior for this age and stage, as opposed to the more aggressive behavior seen on occasion, so I'm not worried about it.

They're both up, and taking turns nicely (for the most part ). Nice to see the sun.

And now the one who had been brooding (I think Mom) has left, and Dad(?) has taken over nest duty.

Hi JudyB You're right I think this is Dad in the nest now. I beginning to
tell the parents apart a little better now. Dad's head feathers are whiter than mom's and the top
of his head is rounder than Mom's. Her head is alot wider and flatter.

It turned out to be a beautiful clear day and the forecast looks good too!

There was another feeding a couple of minutes ago, and now they're tucked in for a little nap. The nest is gently moving with the breeze - much nicer than yesterday.

Mom on the nest

Good morning,

7:19 am,
Both parents were on the nest. Mom fed BB a few bites while Dad fluffed the nest cup. LB faced Dad rather than Mom hoping for food. Mom flew off about the time LB figured out that Dad was not serving breakfast; LB had finally turned to face Mom but she left. Dad settled down with the 'lets.

I've been watching a nice feeding - haven't been keeping count, but both seem to be getting a good amount.

I'm not sure, but I think there might have been a switch. I saw a flash as the eagle who had been there left, then got a s'cap of two sleepy little eaglets, then a moment later an adult arrived on the far side of the nest and is busily eating - and both plump little chicks are sacked out and paying no attention whatsoever.
