Lady O and Cascade are the proud parents of yet another egg! No. 2 has arrived! Yeah!!

I saw the whole thing! I started watching about 9:20 and knew something was up by the way she couldn't settle! I took some screenshots but they aren't clear enough to show whether they are eggs or feet. Marcia, from the Maine nest was keeping vigil and recording the event, and announced the arrival took place at approximately 9:31! I will ask Marcia if I can post a link to the video once she has it completed!

Let's hope the nice weather holds and there isn't any more snow!

Wonderful news about the second egg, gemini - and thanks for posting Marcia's video here. As I recall, Lady O and Cascade only laid one egg last year - the only time I can remember where a pair has only laid one. They did a good job providing for last year's chick, so I don't think two will be a problem for them.

What these eagles go through to produce their young! Not nice!

Things don't look much better this morning and the snow is expected to continue for a while yet. However, Lady o'dell is managing to keep the bowl clear of snow! What a great
Mom!

I just checked the cam again after looking at the above picture. Mom is not covered with snow...she must have just been up....but it's snowing heavily!!

That's great gemini...I had just looked and it was snowing and now the sun is out!! What a quick change of weather!!

She had just gotten up and shook the snow off shortly before I took the sunshine picture. She has since gone on a short wing stretch flight!
