Cam is back! Grin

First egg was laid about 2 weeks ago, so we've got another three or so weeks before we can expect chicks.

Today is day 35 for the first egg - and the adults seemed a bit restless. Smile Unfortunately I couldn't get the streaming cam - only the refresh cam seemed to be working - but I did get the impression that they were up and looking down more than usual. I'm going to keep my fingers crossed that they get the streaming cam back online soon - because I do think there may be chicks soon. Whistling

JudyB..I especially like your second pic....it's a nice portrait of the parents. The beak smooch in #3 is cute too. Looks like they have a "STICK" like we had at Sidney. It must be the latest in nest decor. Grin

Thanks, Mary! Looks like a wet morning at the nest. There was just an exchange - I think Dad arrived with food, and took over brooding while Mom got up to eat. Now Dad's on the nest and Mom has flown off. I only started watching a few minutes ago, so don't know if this is Mom's first break since the overnight shift, but suspect it is.

Dad arrives to take over from Mom:

It didn't look as if Dad rolled the eggs before settling, but I also saw no sign of a chick. Today is day 36 for the first egg, so a hatch is possible but I suspect tomorrow is more likely.

7:18 am
Mom is back, and resuming incubation duties (or at least I think it's Mom - they're both looking pretty wet so it's harder to tell them apart).

Live camera is back up.
It needed a restart.

Thanks so much, crtzm! I've been checking in from time to time today - and do think we're getting close!

No sign of a hatch - but the adult on the nest is definitely checking underneath a whole lot more than is usual for a peacefully incubating eagle. love

I wonder what the morning will bring. Whistling
