Those 2 white heads do stand out, don't they Doug? I think that's why I like that s'cap also, but it also contains my favorite subjects. It looks amazingly like a painting of Ma and Pa.

If you don't know where they spend the night, then I guess it will remain a mystery for all of us.

I have never known where they go to roost at night - but not in their nest, unless when there are eggs or chicks in the nest.

I lightened and brightened the image just a small amount using photoshop. When I manipulate the exposure of an image, I only do enough to enhance, not distort the image. I really liked that image a lot! and the original was quite dark.

Pat, I think the one in your first s'cap is Ma...she seems to really like sitting up on the CU. You know, she is Ruler and Mistress of the nest.

I haven't even had time to pull up the nest today.

Mom (?) was perched on branch to the rear of nest. She flew to the nest bowl where she picked at the material a bit. Then she hopped up onto the CU box and has stayed there for the last 25 minutes.
