4:39PM I keep hearing small birds singing away and tweeting, but no visual of them or of Ma and Pa.

5:24PM It's getting dark at the nest now. Winds appear to have subsided some, and no sign of my favorite eagle couple. Tomorrow is another day!Left thumb up

No visual of Ma and Pa yet (although, I've heard them), but whatever birds are singing away are entertaining. It may be Star Ling making a visit, but a few sound like a combination of Woody Woodpecker and Mickey Mouse. Nodding yes Titter

The two eagles have been sitting side by side in the Babysitting Tree most of the day, thoroughly enjoying the mild day and not bothering much with the nest. On two occasions, I heard them screaching away, but no other eagles were anywhere nearby. Just talking to each other, I guess.

The first mating sometimes occurs in the last few days of January but generally in February (month of St. Valentines) and also in March.
