Ooops, just a litlle late..1-2 others beat me to it a bit earlier. Still a thrill.

2:25p - Both eagles are back......heard one land on or near cam box. It sounded like right
on it and the other nearby. Both were trilling.

2:30p - Trilling from one with answers by the one nearest the cam/mike.

2:31p - Moving around noises from what sounds like the eagle is right on the cam housing.
Quiet call.

I looked closer at my s'cap and it is Mom who was at the nest and nest tree.
Dad was close by.
I am so excited I can hardly type!!!

HI Sandy, - It's very nice that you saw eagles in the area. Someone else (can't rem. who now) has seen eagles in the area too. You never know, the pair you saw at the pier recently could have been our adults..

Oh man after a hard day of cleaning and packing ( we are in the process of moving plus the new house is all we have Internet at now) it's great to sit down and read that They are BACK!!!!!! Woohoo oo now to get my desk top set up so I can watch them while i unpack at the new house next weekend

I had just posted in the old thread, and voila, they opened us up to the thrilling new year! I will probably post my whole video in my gallery, because mom is looking around very, very cautiously the whole time. I heard only a bit of chatting going on, but more to come.

I'm going to try to do these images right, I usually post to FB and YT and such. A little too excited to even be sure I was on full screen!

I agree, I think she is she..the girth and stance seems to stand out to me. BTW, all year, my teenage niece has insisted on calling them Bella and Edward (gee, is she a Twilight fan?)...So those names have been ingrained in me for 6 months now or so.

We have all seen these guys perched, preening, checking things out, calling, meditating a hundred times, yet it never is less exciting. Will post more later..great surveillance (sp?) poses she had.

The pictures were pretty poor, so here is the video of Ma WR. She's looking lovely, though very guarded. No crow-devil to chase them out to a new neighborhood, so they can comfortably settle in before the battles begin. I'm looking forward to all the action coming soon at the nest!!!
