Hi all freinds of this nest, Dawn your right about the feathers unfortunatly there from a pigeion that was lunch last sunday, but thats a good sign I hope !
Petrer I Haven't seen much activty around the new nest at all. drove by at 9:30 and saw one on the branch at the old nest tree today.

I've been trying to watch at the most likely times - but work does get in the way.

The nest was quite lovely yesterday - but no eagles while I was watching:

I can't quite believe it - I actually saw an eagle at the nest!
I'm not sure if it was a very wet adult or a visiting sub-adult - not sure if it will be obvious from the s'caps when i get them here, but there seemed to be some darker areas on the head. Sorry I didn't get more pics - I was so surprised to see someone that it took me a moment to think to go for s'caps. And it was a very brief visit.

Great News!!! I shall have to devote time to this cam! I would so LOVE to see them use this nest.

I came for the eagles, and stayed for the friends I made

Judyb :hello: great catch....that definitely looks like an adult to me possibly Mom and a great sign she was eating in the nest

I echo everyone :nod: and of course we all have our talons crossed that Mom and Dad will use this wonderful nest so we can watch them :lol:
