Hello Judy and cococat! :hello:

You 2 are doing a great job with the s'caps! Judy, I blew up your s'cap where you said a chicklet had hatched, and while it does look like a chicklet there, I asked in chat, and they said no, Emoyeni is still sitting on both eggs. I'd been watching, and wouldn't ya know it? Emoyeni was refusing to get up to let me have a look-see...and I politely asked. Titter

Anyway, she finally did get up,and sure enough...both eggs are still there.

Not the best s'cap, but she wouldn't move further out of my view. :dunno:

9:38AM CAT No s'caps, but Emoyeni keeps getting up and checking the eggs. She's been up twice in about the last 10 minutes and keeps looking down at the eggs. Maybe a hatch is underway? Clapping

ETA...

9:50AM CAT Emoyeni got up again, and this time she rolled the eggs. I couldn't see the pip though.

Has anyone seen any food brought to the nest?

11:29AM CAT I'm not sure if this is a pip or a twig over the egg. :dunno:

OK, it's my day off and I'm headed to bed now. Maybe there will be a chicklet by the time I wake up.

3:39pm..CAT...I came to find an adult incubating the eggs and a minute later the other adult flew into the nest. You know I was excited! Did not see any food brought in. But unfortunately could not get decent s'capes cause they were bigger than the cam...lol
With all the new greenery in the nest it is hard to see the eggs.

Good morning cococat and Judy! :hello:

I agree, cococat...it IS hard to get a good view of the eggs. Nodding yes Both Emoyeni and Thulane being on the nest is a good sign though!

Judy, I saw both eggs in the nest early this morning...NO chicklet yet. I"m sorry if you can't see that's an egg I have the arrow on, but it is. In fact, Black Eagle Project Roodekrans posted this about an hour ago on Facebook...

I would guess since they monitor the nest, they would know, wouldn't you think? And BTW, I'm not Gemini, I'm nightowl.Smile
