I use the free Screen hunter & MWsnap. PhotoScape & PhotoFilter editing lets you change to JPEG

Does anyone have any recommendations for Video Editing software programs? I'm able to capture video clips via Snag It but need a program to edit the videos. Am using a trial of Cyberlink PowerDirector 9. They seem to be pretty complicated programs so if anyone has any suggestions for user friendly programs, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your help.

Hi Pam :hello:

I use Windows Movie Maker -- it's free and really easy to learn to use (very intuitive).

There is a version for each operating system I think (I use the XP one). Google "Windows Movie Maker" and the operating system that you have to find the download for your OS.

Here is a link to detailed tutorials for the version that I have:

Hopefully this helps.

Thanks Skipper. I have heard WMM was a good one but I can't get it to install. I've tried several times and keep getting an error as that was my first choice and recommedation by others. I will try to install it again after I do some Windows updates but my issue may be due to my 64 bit system and Windows 7.

Is there an easy way to have scaps the right size ...320 by 240 without trimming those that are larger than that? I have windows xp and Paint. sometimes too much of the picture is sacrificed with a trim job. Going to a shrink site and then back to the folder is so time consuming.

Any suggestions are welcomeThank You
