I'm so glad you all arrived safely! Love the flowers - I'm so looking forward to spring. cold and I don't get along too well!!! Wendy noticed on Monday, that the daffs are starting to poke through the ground in the small bed we have in the front. We have been debating as to whether we should put a little more dirt on them in case we get another real cold spell. It's been staying around -5C/24F the past few nights with it warming into the mid 40's during the day with lots of sunshine.

Jean - I sure hope Don has a speedy recovery, and glad it wasn't a stroke or something more serious. What a worry.

Donna - enjoy some free time for yourself today!

Waving at Bev and Diane!!

Time for another hot coffee before the girls get up!

Good afternoon friends. I have moved my hammock over here and already feel like I'm at home. Thanks Velma.

Bev and Diane, Jean love your flower pictures. Here are a couple from here.

Click on image to download Jonquils in my back yard that I posted on old forum. I have seen them blooming in the snow many years. These are a couple of weeks earlier than the pictures I took last year.

Click on image to download Tulip tree near my house. It is already past prime, but still pretty. They always bloom, then we have a hard freeze and kill the flowers. We are supposed to go down in the 20s this weekend.

Click on image to download Zoey when I went out to take the jonquil picture. She doesn't stand still for long, so I grabbed a shot while I could.

Jean, glad you have been to the doctor. Hope he makes a speedy recovery.

Donna, enjoy your "free" day. Don't work too hard. Has your snow melted yet?

I just got home from the carpet store I keep the books for, now need to get some work done here before I go serve supper at church, then to Bible Study. I'll be at Briarcliff tomorrow, so probably won't be back on for a few days.

The shower is ready to be used.CheersSmile The cabinets are in and the littles stopped by today as they were running an errand close by. Was fun to have them for a little while and good to see STeve.

I just checked in on the Richmond nest and suspected that it was egg laying time. 10 min later we had the first egg. I also watched E and E for a while this morning. Mostly parent incubating the egg. Maybe tomorrow will bring egg 2 there and at WVa

Madi's friend Sara, has been released from the hospital to go home. Her recovery is pretty miraculous. She has intensive physical, occupational, and speech therapy ahead of her but she was unresponsive on arrival at the hospital11 days ago and it did not look promising. I am praying for peace, joy and courage for Sara and her family.

Sad story: One of the newscasters on a local tv station was interviewing a man who had his dog with him. She was kneeling on the floor when the dog jumped up and bit her in the face. She was taken to the hospital and though she is ok she has quite an injury. They were being interviewed because the dog had been rescued from a small lake after it went in off the ice edge. This lady loves animals and has a Zoo program from time to time.

Jean enjoy your evening with Don.

I am tired from all I did do today. I am off.

Phew Plop!!!! I made it! Landed safely in my hammock at our newly renovated Hollow. It's kind of the like the interior was torn down, but the outside walls remain. Now we get to reconstruct and redecorate the inside. If that makes any sense at all. Wink

Look as if we'll be sharing a lot of our own personal pictures which will be fun. I have some new ones from an outing today, but will post tomorrow.

Jean - glad Don's dr appt turned out positive. Just will take a while for the nerves to heal.

Donna - enjoy your new shower, but don't use all the water. Laugh

Velma - thanks for making all this happen. Glad your back Smile
I'm Sleepy so I'll be back tomorrow. Thanks all for the Sitting eagle Egg Hatch updates. Good night everyone...............Cherie
