4:41Den time lily is working on more boughs for her den. she was chewing to break them and using her paws to arrange the pieces. this is the first time I have seen her active.

I came for the eagles, and stayed for the friends I made

posted updates today:
There's no plan at this time to approach the den to move the balsam boughs. We'll wait to see if Lily moves them herself. She's blocked the view before -- only to clear it on her own later. No one has been near her den since Jan 11th when the camera was adjusted.

Work is currently being done on the audio feed in an attempt to cut down on the hum. The video feed is still live -- but balsam boughs don't move much....

as frustrating as it is to be looking at balsam boughs, I am so pleased they are NOT going to clear them away and disturb the bear. She needs to be expending her energy on upcoming birthing work and not worrying about who's coming to her door to rearrange her nesting materials!!

I am glad too Jwinx, At least from watching the nests, we are used to blocked camera views.
She took care of it all on here own I see.
