I have a Mac, I just pasted the copyright to text edit and have it saved, then paste the PB pic to that saved file, then copy and post the pic.

I don't know what to do with a PC, but JudyB does.

for this cam I just crop the pic with the copy right in it and if you click for a larger view you will see it.

BET, that's beautiful, nothing better than adult wings and newly hatched chicks in the same picLeft thumb up

I just want to remind everyone about the copyright agreement for Finland osprey cam pics, so I'm reposting the agreement from Ploughboy.

I assume that this reminder is meant for me. If you look at the images I posted you will see the copy right noted vertically in the bottom right hand corner. If you want it bigger or posted in the text, I will do that. The size I posted is what is usual for photos.

It looks like this

BET, I'm sorry if I offended you, that was not my intent. I didn't see the copyright in your pics, now that you've pointed them out I do see them. You know how osprey nests are, often hard to see eggs and chicksWink

Members of the Maine forum and BCAW forum posted pics without the copyright, I posted the agreement on those forums as well, over a long winter it's easy to forget a policy only one site has.

I'm just a member of the Hancock forum and have nothing to say about how the Finland copyright issue is addressed, the site administrators and moderators can set a policy if they think it's necessary. It was stated in Ploughboy's post, "pictures are allowed, videos are not allowed, and he strongly wishes that his copyright is clearly shown/mentioned with the pictures."

I personally don't like having to post a copyright on a pic from an osprey cam. I don't like the fact that steaming video from this cam is "pay to view", so I don't !! The majority of cams have copyrights, but the Finland cams are the only ones that are enforcing it!! All the cams are very expensive to run and ask for donations (and I do donate to them), but Finland is the only cam charging a fee.

In fact, the only reason I'm watching the Finland cams is to monitor the humane handling of the ospreys this season.

Again, I didn't intend to offend you, and your pic is beautiful!!Wub
