There was a remarkable sighting during today's Aug. 5 WildEarth.TV (http://www.wildearth.tv/cam/wildearth-safaris) afternoon safari drive. A large group of white-backed and hooded vultures were gathered at Red Dam, while spotted hyenas fed on a Cape buffalo carcass they had dragged into the water. Then the vultures found some remnants along the shore, and so a hyena had to go over and check what all the fuss was about.
