My boss has a 25" wide-screen monitor, and I'm athinkin' maybe I need to check to see if they make at least a 32" to fit all the cams in! (I don't think they actually make them that big, but if we talk to the manufacturers......)

I have a 17" & it's way tooooo small. 2 bears, 1 falcon, 2 eagles, Djuma, a couple of USee' cams I need a jumbotron screen

How to do a "Video Mark"

At the top right of the player are two tabs: "Live Stream" and "Archives"

To go to the archives, click on the "Archives" tab

To see the archived footage for a specific date, click on "Date" (note: the stream is being recorded and saved in 10-minute segments)



To create a 'video markt'

Click on the segment where you want to put the video mark. Then click on the slider at the bottom of the player and, while holding down your left mouse button, move the slider and find the beginning of where you want your video to start (note: you can click on the slider and move it back and forth until you find the place where you want your video to start)

When you find the place where you want your video to start, click on "Video Mark"



A drop down box will appear



Type in the title and description of your video and a "tag". The tag is the name of the nest (e.g. Sidney)

Click on "Create"

To see the video marks, click on the "Recent" tab:



To post a link to your video mark on the forum --- regrettably I don't think this is possible, or at least I haven't figured out how to do it. If I figure it out I will edit this post.

Once we've waited a day or so to make sure there aren't any changes - like how to link to your mark other than describing where someone can hopefully find it - may I move this to our "how to" thread?

Now that we are getting chicks in a lot of the nests, I do think it's marvelous that we will have a way to watch what happened one more time - and with luck we'll sort out the rest in the next couple of days.

Sure! You can move it wherever. I did it really quickly though so I'm not even sure that the instructions are correct -- or thorough enough.

Maybe a few of the mods could follow the instructions and tell me about any additons/changes that need to be made before you move it (the "How to" thread is locked and I don't have access)
