Do I have a case of double vision? I'm seeing the 'new topic' button at both the top and bottom of the threads now... Kinda the opposite of what we are hoping for isn't it?

The "double vision" was a side effect of Richard's making the forum index links available in more places. He's going to try to change things so there's only one of them, and it's nowhere near the Post Reply button - but while it's not hard for him to do that - he'd like to do it in a way that it will stay there when he upgrades the software. And that's quite a bit harder to do. Grin

I am wondering if this posting area can be made more 'compact' like the one over at the glFusion forum. It looks like this. (click for bigga)

Terry their posting area is smaller because they have left and right blocks open for their ads. We have only the right block in effect. We tried both in the test forum and decided against it.
The main reason was that we could then open the cams on the left of the screen and the posting window could be right next to them with no ads to distract the view.

Our posting area would also be more compact if we had less smileys. When/if I have some free time (maybe on the weekend) I have a whole list of "wish list" items to post on the glFusion forum - including a way to have half the smileys on a second page. I readily agree that we could just get rid of half of them - but they are fun, and we each have our favorites. Whistling

I do not set up my monitor that way. I put the camera at the top and the fourms below. I never could make it work for me with things side-by-side.

More than that though, to my eye it is just untidy... I will not mention it again Shh
