The eagles have visited the nest twice this afternoon.

The eagles were at the nest this morning from about 11:09 to 11:30. Mom stayed longer than dad. They have more hay in the nest bowl.

There is snow in the forecast.

Afternoon Fort St Vrain & Friends of this nest

Donna I often pop in and read all of the reports, observations and admire the captures of this beautiful family but do not always post....so today I thought I better drop in and perch awhile . Thank you so much for all that you do to keep us informed on this beautiful family we appreciate all that you do and I really enjoy the two views that both cams provide.

The nest is again filled with snow.

The eagles arrive at 8:15 a.m. to reclaim the nest. They have brought sticks and a little hay with them.

Look how deep the snow is on the eagles legs. I am loving this picture as it is the first time I have seen the eagle in the snow after it first lands.
