wave Hi xeniepur and welcome!

I edited your post so your photo would show up! It is such a great shot! I hope you don't mind! Smile

To get your photos to show up in your posts do the following:

Place the cursor where you want your photo to appear in your post, click on the "file" button in the formatting row at the top of the post window. Type a '1' between the middle square brackets like so:

[file] 1 [/file ]
(without any spaces though)

That should do it! Smile

I heard about this nest last fall and went over looking for it. Couldn't find it the first time but went back armed with a better map the second time and finally found it. There wasn't any sign of eagles around at that time! I will have to go and have another look next time I am doing the nest rounds!

Dropped by Esmond Avenue (Last nest today). Only stayed 5 minutes. The adult is still sitting quietly on the nest. Nothing exciting to report here.

I've been by this nest a few times recently. I've only ever noticed one eagle and many times you can see it perched on the light pole on the hwy as it was last Thurs. and Fri evenings. When it was on the light post I tried to see if there was another eagle in the nest but have not been able to see any, so I wonder if there are eggs/eaglets.

Got a picture of this little guy on a different light pole a short distance from where the eagle was perched. If someone can identify it for me that would be great.

I've confirmed this eve that there are 2 eagles at this nest. I took the picture of the one in the tree while the other was on the light post on the hwy. The tree one got spooked by me and went to join his/her mate on the light post.
