|Description:||Walk for Wildlife
Celebrate National Wildlife Week, April 4 – 10, 2010 and the International Year of Biodiversity
by taking part in the Canadian Wildlife Federation’s 1st Annual Walk for Wildlife.
Make “Wildlife Matters to Me” your personal pledge during National Wildlife Week.
Head outdoors to discover Canada’s biodiversity right in your own backyard.
Then tell us how far you went for wildlife by logging your kilometres on-line as part of the
Walk for Wildlife.
Walk for Wildlife will kick off on Sunday, April 4 and wrap up on May 22, International Day
of Biodiversity. Along the way, we will send you progress reports
and talk about the wildlife that will be joining us on our journey across the country.
Our goal is have enough kilometres logged to go right across Canada and create
national awareness about wildlife conservation and biodiversity.
