Description: Conference highlights include a dedication to the Craigheads, a
workshop on the new book Raptor Research and ManagementTechniques*,
a symposium on Short-eared Owls and Northern
Harriers, plus a Saturday “Raptors in Education Symposium,” where
teachers will be encouraged to attend. Rounding out the program
are raptor papers, poster sessions and three plenary speakers.
Brian Woodbridge personifies the Craighead legacy with his groundbreaking
findings on Swainson’s Hawks.
The University of Montana professors Dr. Ken Dial
and Dr. Erick Greene will share their cuttingedge work
on evolution of bird flight and avian, communication respectively.

David Hancock will present his lecture,
The Use of Live Video Wildlife Cams for Research and Education
at 3:00 P.M. Saturday September 27th.
