Raptor Center surgeons work to save injured bald eagle

HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. -- A bald eagle with fresh injuries was brought in to the Carolina Raptor Center over the weekend.

Patient #16843, as the adult eagle is referred to, was found off Mt. Holly-Huntersville on Hambright Road, just around the corner from the Raptor Center.
