The Panorama of Chehalis Estuary
As I'm putting together the software to allow our volunteers to control the cameras at the Chehalis Estuary, I came across a command that would make the camera do a continuous pan. This, coupled with the fact the cameras are creating an archive still image every 10 seconds, and that I've been playing with an open source "stitcher" program (hugin - Windows version available) on my Linux box lead me to create the image below as an interesting test of what could be done with this facility. I'll be creating some others as the day goes - what else is a Sunday for, anyway?
