Media and Content Coordinator Needed

Here at Hancock Wildlife Foundation we are all volunteers, including David Hancock and I, his assistant, and JudyB, our webmaster.  There is no paid staff.  Our I.T. work is done by an outside contractor, Ken.  As we strive to improve the appearance and ease of use of our website, the Hancock Wildlife Foundation is pleased to currently be accepting applications for a summer placement program for our Media and Content Coordinator.

The position would be ideal for someone in video or visual media production.

Essential Skills would include:

 - previous experience in visual media

- previous experience in video editing/production

- previous experience with social media

We are seeking someone to help with our online presence, creation of content for our new website to be launched in Fall 2017, development of video archives, promotion of video material on YouTube and other platforms, integration with Live Feeds through Periscope, Facebook, etc.

Position will be based out of our office in South Surrey. Applicant must have vehicle access. Applicant must be between 18-30 years old and enrolled in a recognized college or university.  

Pay rate would be $15/hr.
