Chehalis Fish Hatchery  Underwater CAM  Installation

The Chehalis Fish Hatchery  is an incredible place to watch salmon -- all five species AND Steelhead & Cutthroat Trout.

The Hancock Wildlife Foundation, during the peak of the salmon runs from September through December, tries to keep a Live CAM focused on the passing and spawning salmon.  The following brief video was made by a BCIT student, Laura Murphy, showing a bit about the installation of the CAM and the area.

Have a pleasant view or visit to the area.  The Chehalis -- Harrison Flats,  just north of the Harrison River Bridge on Highway 7 is also the home of our Fraser River Bald Eagle Festival -- the third weekend of November.
